Why Are My Websites Being Attacked By Hackers?

Why are my sites being attacked by Hackers?

I think this is a great question and I will do my best to explain the reasons behind this.

Many people these days have WordPress sites and while relatively secure, there are always backdoors for people to get in if the sites are not set up correctly.

I will endeavour to explain why your sites may be targeted from time to time by potential hackers.

I say potential hackers as there are tools to use to strengthen your site and make it less likely to get hacked.

Sending Spam Email

When mail is sent from your website server, it will come from a typically clean ip address which means that no one has reported your email as spam. Hence, the Google and other filters in the system will not be as quick to flag the email from your server as spam.

It is imperative to protect your websites from attackers.

Always make sure that you have strong and unique oasswords on your sites.

I recopmmend using a password management program, such as Dashlane where you can store an unlimited number of paswords and sync them up against your devices, so there is no excuse to have strong passwords to protect yourself against false loaders on your sites.

This way, I am free to concentrate on improving my business and mind, while knowing my passworsds are safe and secure, as I don’t have to remember complex words.

Cutting Old Programming and Breaking Through to Success

Cutting Old Programming and Breaking Through to Success

Any of our past experienced may define us to this point in time, but they need not limit us in our future endeavours.

Ultimately, we can easily move forward and create the future we want for ourselves, by believing in our own ability and most importantly, keeping on in our visualized goals to our success.

Belief in Our Goals and Desires

Ultimately, if it is to be it is ultimately up to us to make it so!

BeliefI was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth and my parents had to both work very hard to be where they are today. I knew that I wanted as much as them, and so much more and that it would take effort and work on my part.  That was all fine with me, but when I was in school, I had very low self-confidence. I was one of those really shy types and it took a lot of effort to ultimately believe in myself.

However, I knew that the situation was never going to get much better if I did not do anything about. For a number of years, till I was 24 years old, I was painfully shy and would never feel comfortable asking girls out as an example as well. I knew I could be unsatisfied and simply remain alone, or I could do something about it.

Effectively, when we are really at a point where the pain of a situation is greater than doing nothing, we become motivated to do something about changing our situation. That was me.

I knew I had to face the pain or discomfort of changing my habits and then trying a new path that I would find more satisfying. For many of us, we simply feel it is easier to remain unhappy and unfulfilled which is never a long-term good idea.

Belief in ourselves

A good way to look at this is to realise that there are many people far worse off than us and if they have been able to face their adversity square on, then we can too. It is about making a conscious decision. That is mostly all there is to it.

When we decide to make a change, we are more than halfway there as we are often our worst enemies in terms of being scared or thinking that we can’t. Fact is, we actually can, and particularly if we think we can.

Your mindset determines who you are. VisualisationMake sure that you always remember that and practice believing and visualizing all that you wish to be, to the point, that you believe it to be.

It is important, to be honest with yourself. If you have a weakness in a particular area, it is essential to work on that issue and improve. We all can when we want to improve.

I hope that this article will have helped t inspire you to believe in yourself.

Visualise Your Success

By seeing the way you wish to be, and telling yourself it each and every day, you will begin to change your mindset. This will work in a number of ways for you. As you begin to switch from a dream o a faint hope of a certain situation, to actively believing it is your right and destiny, you start to alter your outward behaviour. This is like walking the walk and talking the talk till you actually make it. Your attitudes will slowly change and you will feel better about yourself, This causes the outside world to work closer to your will and manifest for you your desires. I know this may sound out there, but without going into the metaphysical science of it all, the thoughts we have transferred the world around us and bring our desires to us. It comes with practice, believe and building confidence over time.

Affiliate Marketing Model- How to Make it Work For Me?

Affiliate Marketing Model- How to Make it Work For Me?

How to Make Affiliate Marketing Work for Me?

I think this is a great point to discuss today, as much of my business model is based on affiliate marketing, and it can be a very lucrative model indeed, when done correctly.

I know there are many options out there when it comes to programs and the like, and I one day decided to use the mindset program and just get on with working out a model and sticking to it. It comes down to being determined and following a plan that has been created with thought, rather than just doing what feels right today, and then flitting to something different tomorrow and getting bored, so you switch to something else again a few days time.

I knowPrevent falling into a hole- Mind Ninja we are all guilty of having fallen into this kind of trap before. However, if we can apply a little discipline, and learn from those who’ve walked before- me if I may say, we can save a lot of wasted time, trouble and dare I say, a lot of unnecessary cost.

I have spent many thousands of dollars on my education online, and while I don’t regret any of it, given what I have learned, I know I could have learned the same lessons and done so much better, so much sooner, had I taken other well intended advice.

Shiny Things

I have fallen for many shiny things over the years and while I have taken some of them to build up my back end, as I like to call it, in terms of my website systems and processes, I know that there have been many deviations along the road.

However, I certainly do not regret any of them, given the final knowledge I now have. Please note: I say final when referring to this point in time. I am always learning new things and going to courses etc, but I have developed systems that work, and am only gradually building on those systems and getting them to the state where they currently are so I can be better and better.

Hence, If I can leave you with any take away today, it is to pick a system that works for you and that you are happy with.

I am also a great believer in using the Ninja Mindset process which has helped me to focus better as well.

Challenges faced by Online Marketers and Ways to Overcome Them When Using a CMS System, such as WordPress

Challenges faced by Online Marketers and Ways to Overcome Them When Using a CMS System, such as WordPress

There will be many articles on this site for internet marketers and I wanted to discuss the reasons to use certain types of themes in the WordPress sphere when thinking about internet marketing.

Wordpress Content Management System

Effectively, when we are putting content online, our primary aim is to make sure that we have our content found. Obviously, this will require some initial thought in terms of the keywords that we use and the way we structure our articles or content.

As an example, you will note that this article has headings and subheadings in it, as well as pictures, ALT text, which is a text form that describes each picture. It is actually designed to help sight impaired people, but also works a treat when helping search engines to dish our material up to readers of ours. I know this seems complex, but I will explain, and to boot, you will not need to become a Search Engine Optimisation specialist. It just takes at first, a little extra thought and effort, but in time, this will all become much easier for you to follow and better yet, to apply.

SEO Basics in Web Creation

Search Engine OptimisationEven though you are primarily concerned with your subject matter at hand there are things you can do to make your pages and web content as SEO friendly as possibly. All this effort will mean the search engines will be more likely to serve up your web site when people are searching for that which you have.

If your subject is YouTube videos as an example, that would form the basis of your keyword. It is better to be as specific as possible, so you might say, something like ‘Talking Head You Tube Videos’.

If this is the subject matter, the more specific you are,  the more easily and likely it is that you will be found as there will be millions of entries online about ‘YouTube’ but not as many for YouTube Talking Head Videos’ as an example.

It is then important to put the keyword phrase in the title, in some sub headings and also in the content, sprinkled at a rate of about 3 % or so.

Hence, it is not practical or even acceptable to use the entire page and just re[eat your phrase hundreds of times. That is known as engine spamming. However, writing naturally, with the keywords or variations of the keyword phrase in the content will work best. You really do not have to overthink this but rather, just be natural and content quality driven.

I always laugh at the people who are doing their best to work out all the complex SEO and Google algorithms, which change almost daily. In the end, the websites that win are the ones that keep posting relevant content for their readers and the best quality as well. Keep it simple and keep your site in the good books that way.

Yes, it takes work, but it is the easiest path in the long term.

The Theme Choice for WordPress

Where possible, when you use a theme inThemes Selection in WordPress the Appearance section of WordPress, use the advanced search features to search for a Responsive theme. This means that the theme will adjust the content of your site to look as good as possible on different forms of viewing media. In other words, when we create a site, we typically (or at least I do) create the site on our desk top computers. The screen is big, I have a full size keyboard and the comfort of my office to work in.

However, I also need to think of my readers and the people consuming my content. After all, the material is typically being read by people in many different settings. Some will be at home or in their offices, also looking at it on a screen on a desktop machine. However, many will be on tablets or even on phone screens which are much smaller.

Optimised Screen Viewing

With some of the older, non optimised sites, the end result is material that is either far too small to see properly as the text and images do not reformat well, and the whole lot is squeezed into a small screen.

Hence, by using an optimised, and responsive theme that adjusts automatically for the device that your reader is on, will make it easier for the menu structure to work as well as the layout on screen. It is statistically recognised that more and more people are seeing things and reading as well as researching online, using their mobile devices and this includes purchasing and making buying decisions.

You do want your site to look good and you want to make sure the operator can easily purchase the items or services you are seeling from your site.

This is the reason to make sure your site has a responsive theme, and good on page SEO.

You really don’t have to be a tech head for this stuff. Just give thought to your content, your headings and make the search engines organically love your work.

Quality, unique articles over time will work best. If you can add videos as well, you are onto a true winner.

A Little Bit Each Day For Success- My Online Business Program in the Affiliate Space

A Little Bit Each Day For Success- My Online Business Program in the Affiliate Space

Hi there,

I know what it is like- you are sitting at your desk day dreaming or just worrying about things. How can I afford the bills, the next few days commitments, the next plans and so much more?

A Little Bit Each Day For Success

This is a common problem for many people and has been for quite a few years, mostly since the crash of 2008 and what now, with the credit tightening by the banks and the like- it is getting more and more interesting by the day.

Affiliate Graph

I decided to take control one day and set into motion, what is in fact now, one of my primary work structures as far as earning a living on line. The reason I an writing this is that it has been just on thirteen years that I have been in the online marketing game and it has taken me the majority of that time to work out some very specific issues that are worth noting.

In fact, it all came together for me when I purchased a course on affiliate marketing from Dan Brock called the Deadbeat Affiliate. Now, I should say that this is a branding name, where he likes to show himself off as lazy, but he is actually quite clever and clearly, able to market himself very well.

Anyway, the point I am trying to make is that I have been in the marketing space for 13 years and it was after I completed his course that I learned the most valuable piece of the puzzle. It was all about being consistent and sticking to a particular plan.

Being Consistent and Sticking to a Plan

We all need to make sure that we limit our constantly diverting to new shiny objects.

I have proven that many times and I have even been outing these points into practice now which is a really good thing for me. I hope to teach others about this point too.

Effectively, I have decided to write a blog post daily in two of my main blogs- being this one-  Ideal Earner Member  as well as Martin Cohn Publishing.

I also have as many as over 60 other sites that I will be placing articles on, that I write, as it is imperative to always have updated, new, unique content. Half the battle is being regular, in the blogging sort of way (but the other way helps too) and also making sure that I stick to my plan.

I also am an affiliate for many different products in different niches, including, but not limited to personal development where I market a product that , in co operation with the Deadbeat affiliate helped me to get my working life in my own business on track.
Wealth Mindset Book
That product is marketed and presented on the Growth Mindset website where the wealth mindset and Ninja mindset are studied. I will provide the disclaimer that the site is my own affiliate site where I create sites like these based on my experience with different products, both digital and physical.

I have found that more and more, by being very regular and determined in my marketing efforts, I have been able to grown my business.

Regular Reading and Study

I have made a point to regularly read and study new material and insert it into my business model, both for my personal development, enjoyment and profit growing.  This way, I’m am able to be more balanced, as well as read more and more and learn more.

I would like to stress at this point that I make a point of regularly doing the same thing, on a daily basis, following a weekly plan and then repeating the process.

I know how easy is can be to flick from one thing to another, chasing a shiny object. Had I learned that sticking with a program, and working the ring out of it, before mastering it and then, adding a new program to my stable of activities, I would have become a master at marketing a lot sooner. However, I am glad I am well on the way now.

I genuinely hope you can take from this article and make a n improvement in your working patterns.

I look forward to hearing of your success.

Cheers,

Martin

Consistent Posting and Also, Busting Procrastination | Take Action Stop Procrastination | by Leon Tran

Consistent Posting and Also, Busting Procrastination | Take Action Stop Procrastination | by Leon Tran

Marketing Online is a skill that can be learned like any other- it takes time, effort and determination.

The Book  by Leon Tran

The idea behind the ebook Take action stop Procrastination is to activate our senses to the scurge that is procrastination.

It is also one of those things that holds us back- regardless of the area of our lives. It may be

  • business marketing, it may be
  • doing our homework or study,
  • It may be doing the house cleaning and chores and so much more.
  • The fact is, this behaviour is actually affecting our whole life- in all the wrong ways and we can take action and curb this curse.

For so many people, their great ideas, their great insight and all they have to offer the world, or even much smaller scale things, like just keeping your home clean, are being stifled and in some cases, burnt out. There has to be another way and certainly, there are solutions, many of them costing from a few dollars to many hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

However, when I started my 2016 year, I decided to kick the procrastination habit in the guts once and for all.

I am a reasonable achiever in life, and decided it was time to notch things up a bit and today, the 10th of January 2016 is as good a day as any other.

I am certain you are well aware enough to know that you need to make a conscious decision to do things differently if anything is to change and therefore, I am making this decision right now. It is important to me, and I genuinely hope that my enthusiasm will rub off on you in some way as well.

I actually made the decision to get my house in order when I cam across a free book, a small ebook of only around 20 pages that quite literally opened my eyes to the amazing concept of taking action and stopping procrastination.

The book Take Action Stop Procrastination  is written very simply, and can be read in a around half an hour or less. Naturally, I recommend reading the book a few times and taking notes as you go, because the material has been so profound for me.

Take Action Stop Procrastination

I have found the book to be very good for me personally and while the actual book is free and you need not pay anything extra, you can pay more if you wish and purchase the upsells.

The book Take Action Stop Procrastination  is written very simply, and can be read in a around half an hour or less.

However, it is not necessary to get anything more if you do not wish, so this is genuinely a free offer.

Setting Up Your Home Loan To Be Part Fixed and Part Variable- Points For Best Financial Outcomes

Setting Up Your Home Loan To Be Part Fixed and Part Variable- Points For Best Financial Outcomes

I realize this is a regularly discussed issue here in Australia, and I am relatively certain, in many other countries. In fact, in Australia, home ownership is one of the nation’s great dreams and is frequently discussed over the dinner table. While some European banks may be quite rigid still in the way they do things, the flexibility of loan structures in Australia is quite considerable and the competition between banking groups is fierce. Hence, there are some benefits fr the average consumer and I hope to assist with my take on these issues on the use of fixed and variable rates.

Benefits of Fixed Rates

Some people like the absolute certainty of fixed rates which is fine, but when the market is potentially still falling, in terms of the rates of loans potentially going down in percentage rates, it is wise not to lock all your eggs int one basket. Then again, if you are the kind of person who just wants absolute certainty, then fully locking might indeed be the way for you. However, it is good to have some flexibility with variable rates in a falling market because then, even though you can have a full guarantee of not paying more on part of the fixed part, you can benefit from reduced rates on the variable bit.

Naturally, in a rising market place of increasing interest rates, the fixed way is the way to go, but if you leave some section of your loan variably set, you can make additional payments over a threshold amount if you wish and not suffer a penalty. Most extra payments on a fixed mortgage can be no more than $10,000 per year, typically, but this will vary from bank to bank. In so,me European markets, you may only be able to make additional payments once every three months, after a prior arrangement with the bank, so it is wise to check these points.

Variable Rates

Without doubt, in a market where the rates are falling, the variable method is the way to go. Of course, there can be risks if the rates go up markedly, and as I think I may have made clearer earlier on in this article, my general view is that it can be beneficial to go with a part variable and a part fixed set up so as to have the best of both worlds.

Regardless of your decision, always make sure that you can affords to repay your obligations even if the rates were to go up as much as 3% more as this way, you will have built in enough buffer to cover yourself which is always a great form of personal insurance for financial health and comfort.

The Current Property Market and The Need To Save As Much As Possible

While the article below is intended as a general point, regardless of your exact loaction, I can confirm that in Sydney, Australia, the prices of property have been rising very highly, and in my view, are reaching a point where they are likely to leave quite a lot of pain witgh the prople who have leveraged to the maximum, and found that there is very little left to work with as and when the cost of loans goes up.

While rates for loans have been hostirically low, there is a clear indication from history that rates will at some time rise and I am not sure if all the households out there are ready for it.

Some people are even looking at options liek buying homes further out of town and commuting into the city centres.

This is something that I did some time ago, and the article on the economies of commuting is here for your reference from the Sydney Morning Herald.

While there are certainly some benefits in having a slightly cheaper house when you are living away from work, you do need to factor in the cost of transportm, time and the like.

I think however, that a few years ago, some lending practices, in my view, were a little loose and we are starting to see a return to the higher risk loans with little or no deposit, and people borrowing the maximum they can afford to repay now. Of course, when rates do go up, this will be very problematic, in that some people’s budgets may not make it to stretch further.

Of course, on a positive note, there are more people who have been utilizing the lower rates to get ahead on their mortgages and this is a very positive step.

I know that even of you have a higher rate mortgage, because you may have used a special loan to consolidate other debt into one loan, and have a slightly higher interest rate, it is really important to get in there and pay as much as you can in extra repayments.

These will help to provide a buffer when the times are leaner and also give you an added peace of mind which is priceless in my view.

Extra Repayments and Extra Deposit

It could be argued this is very basic information, but generally, the more you repay on your variable rate loan, the better off you will bem both from the point of view of paying down your debt sooner as well as managing to also build in a security buffer of extra repayments.

Even extra payments as little as ten doallars a week can make a difference over the life of a loan. If you make no further repayments on a loan set over thirty years, you will typically find the first seven years are just paying off the interest which is quite scary.

I wncourage you to make sure that you are always paying as much as possible off your loan for maximum benefit and ownership of your home.

Property as Part of Wealth Growth

For most of us, a comfortable life is pretty much an issue of some importance, ranging to down right critical for some others. I will be discussing how property as part of wealth growth is critical to this overall process.

Regardless of where you are on this line, the fact is that we all need to make sure that we are able to support ourselves through our life times. I know that the traditional model is to go out and work for around forty years, then retire, and hope your savings and the government pension will look after you.

Needless to say, this is proving to be a very unreliable way to go about things!

Property as Part of Wealth Growth

It is important to note that over the years, property as part of wealth growth has proven itself to be one of the single most reliable investments. People all need to live somewhere and in some cases, receiving the rent is a great way t benefit from renters.

I know that there is the opposite side of the equation where some people want to rent, because that way, they may be able to live in more desirable and expensive area, compared to the affordability issues of actually buying in a given area.

Either way is OK, and up to you and your budget.

However, if you are in a position to, it is also a great idea to buy property, either rent it out or wait for capital appreciation, or both, and build your wealth over time.

Naturally, it is essential to get professional advice in this area, but overall, understanding these principles will assist you to achieve a greater wealth over time, when you act on the knowledge you have gained.
